We've Been Busy, Update Post #30

I apologize for letting this get by me - I am sorry for your loss and y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you make and enjoy that hike - I have found out in time of sadness and stress, a good, long walk can be very helpful.

Sorry for your loss, Snubby. Prayers to you and the rest of your family. My folks are both pushing 90 and in poor health. I keep expecting to get the call from one of my brothers that mom or dad has passed. It's hard, but a part of living in this world. I'm thankful that this is not my eternal home.

Snubby,

I think walking is great therapy. Seems to put things in prospective. Nice that the weather is cooperative. I put in a lot of miles when my dad died in 1988.

73,
Rick

I missed this news when it was new. Sorry for your loss. Spending time in nature is a great way to recuperate and to forget your troubles for awhile.

I drove 3.5 hours down and 3.5 hours back today to visit the family plot where my sister, mom, grandparents, great grandparents, great great grandparents, and who knows how many aunts, uncles, and cousins are buried. Wanted to see my sister's headstone for the first time since it was set up recently and take some flowers.
