Went to the local 25 yard indoor range today after work. Sent 200 rounds of M22 and 200 rounds of Federal bulk hollow points down range in about an hour. Ran flawlessly with the new bolt catch. I think I took care of the zombie butcher.

Sweet, sounds like you had a good time! It rained all week so I wasn't able to hit the range. I can't wait to get back home and go shooting. The 15-22 is just a blast.

It's so much fun to shoot the 15-22. I probably spent more time loading magazines. I only have two 25 rounders and one 10 rounder.

I only hqve one mag, so that tells you how time i spend reloading. Palmetto state has mags on sale this weekend for $14.99 with free shipping. I might have to jump on that.

I would clear my three magazines. Reel in the target and check it out while loading the mags again. It was awesome how many rounds I went through. The rifle didn't even break a sweat.

I think I have enjoyed my 15-22 more than any other gun I own or have owned. They are a blast, and economical to shoot!

While I intend to get a second or third mag, I don't see where you spend any less time reloading with multiple mags. Firing, say, 200 shots requires reloading 1 mag 8 times, or 2 mags 4 times, both of which will take the same time. Sure, you can put more rounds down range in a shorter time, but then you spend more time reloading. I think I'd rather just do a mag at a time, "relaxing" 'till the next shooting spree. I guess if I had 8 mags, I could reload them all at home, but other than that... No?

I liked having time to reel in the target, check it out while loading. Run the target out to 25 yds and unleash again.

This last time it was 60 cause I have two 25 and a 10. I knew where I was aiming off-hand, so I would inspect that area, look for flyers and see what kind of radius I could hold at that distance with the mbus sights.
