Perhaps not the best obit ever written but surly it ranks in the top five. Everybody who knew him is laughing and, like has been said, those of us who didn't would have certainly liked to at least have met the man. hardcase60

Some of the guys I worked with at AT&T were like that and helped the rest of us to deal with the business pressures. Some were never serious about anything and got away with it their whole careers. Gotta hand it to them!

I've thought about commissioning a tombstone for myself with a urinal chiseled into the back.

My guess is that the ABBA and Bed Bath & Beyond references were tongue in cheek. Ol' Terry seems like a guy who would have been seriously annoyed by both (just like most of us here on the Forum).

I read the obit on Farcebook (I know how I spelled it), and I also thought Terry must have written most of it. It was wonderfully, self-deprecatingly, tongue-firmly-in-cheek funny.
Definitely a man well worth knowing.
Rodney Dangerfield's gravestone actually reads "There goes the neighborhood." If I were going to have a grave--I'm not--I'd love to use that one.
