It's been almost impossible to get any work done in my small work shop. The wife decided about three weeks ago to rehab the basement. First it was get everything out of the basement. That meant filling up the garage and my workshop with all the stuff. Then it was remove the old ceiling, dust everywhere. Clean it up. Remove all the trim, sand and paint. Dust everywhere. Trim crammed in garage. Sand and paint the paneling. More freaking dust. Clean that up. Have the floor striped and resealed. Put up new lights. More dust. Started the new ceiling today. Lights were off center. I told my son in law they didn't look centered but hey let's not re-measure them to make sure. Nope, one wasted 4x8 sheet. Move the lights. Wife is going to have a bird only one new sheet is up but at least it's in the correct place and the lights are too. This project was only supposed to last two weeks. I saw the folly in that right away. I expect two more weeks. She started tearing apart the kitchen too. I can't wait to get the refrigerator out of my shop and all the stacked boxes. I guess this is kind of an apology to any of my clients who are waiting patiently for their stocks. It's not an act of God but with my wife involved it's pretty close.
