what ammo are you using in your 15-22

Has any of you guys had any problems with CCI mini mag hollow points in your 15-22?
I have several rounds and was just wondering. Havent shot any yet,

Mine will NOT fire CCI with out jamming!

I have no idea why they just won't cycle. Its great ammo, I use CCI in my SIG Mosquito and they are 100%.

I use Federal 550 almost exclusively. Federal Lightning works too but is harder to find and slightly higher in price.

CCI Mini Mag is my choice of ammo. Both round nose and hollow point works flawless on my 15-22, since first day.

I broke in my 15 22 this weekend with mini mags and stingers. Had a few failure to fire with the mini mag but no problems with the stingers. Of course this was the first time the gun had been shot.

What ammo is everyone getting the most accuracy with? My groups were better with the stinger than the mini mag, but I know this gun is capable of more.

To be honest, I'm just now getting around to the accuracy part. For a long time, I did not concentrate on 5 rounds you could cover w/ a dime but simply getting 5 rounds to come out of the barrel!

The MiniMags seem to be the best overall rounds, in my opinion. Of course, they cost about twice what the Federal bulk costs. Worth it? That's the topic of its own separate thread, I think. I like them and my 15-22 likes them so far.

I think my 15-22 w/ iron sights is a better shooter than I am anyway so I'm happy. Now my 15T w/ the EOTech 557 and 3x is another story indeed!
