What ammo have you had issues with?

I just got done checking overall dimensions of an entire box (100) of the WWB .40 S&W rounds as well as 50 CCI Blazer aluminum rounds. Largest deviation I found was .003" in overall length with the WWB and about the same with the CCI. All other dimensions are tight (<.002").
The inside edges of the case rim appear to be very sharp and consistent in both cases. Can't speak to the accuracy of the powder charges or consistency of the primers, either could be a problem with the FTF and/or FTE.

brass maxx .40 180g

Had trouble with the .40 brass maxx 180g in my sd40ve. Looks like the casings are more "flared" than Winchester or federal. The stuff just wouldn't feed at all.

Norinco 9mm

Chinese but made and distributed for USA

These rounds worked good in my P89 no FTE FTF
But in the Shield they bulge the brass, and had several FTF

Just getting back into the gun scene, I have read for hours...I have specifically looked for haters of all guns and ammo...I wanted the gritty...My take...

1. Remanufactured ammo has a reputation to FTF and FTE...
What is acceptable for remanufactured ammo at $.21 to $.28 a round?...If I threw and hit you with 20 round box of ammo it would hurt...What if I dumped 10,000 rounds on top of you...Bullets are going to get damaged and fail...Cheap bullet stories of missing primers?...Enough said...
2. Factory ammo seems to be problem free...I find it in the $.25 to $.30 RD...
3. My gun is for Protection...I shoot the cheap stuff to become accurate and safe...I could care less if the target stuff fails (bullet failure) within reason, it was cheap!!!...For protection I pack the best factory loads I can find, not shooting paper targets with them...Not saying the good stuff does not fail...
4. I bought a MP9...I'd buy a Glock, Springfield, Sig Sauer etc...Their guns...You put quality ammo in them...You learn to make the gun part of your hand...Your safe and you shoot...At the end of the day, we are drinking a beer and bragging about our tight pattern and no one cares what gun you shot, it's that your there having fun!!!
5. I bought a gun to protect, to shoot and enjoy...I did not buy it to impress anyone or to have a bragging toy...
6. I bought a S&W because it presented itself as a very reliable and respected gun...I've let the gun speak...The sound has been beautiful...

1. I don't use "remanufactured" ammo, I make my own.
2. The only Failure to Fire episodes I've had are with factory ammo. I don't use that either (except at matches where factory ammo is required, but those are few and far between).
3. I shoot ~ 50,000 rounds a year. The cost for my handloaded 9mm ammo is 0.10 to 0.13 per round. There is an investment on the handloading equipment but at the amount I shoot it doesn't take very long to pay that cost off.
