I feel the need to contribute, above and beyond my NRA membership.

I know the 2ndA Foundation here locally in Bellevue WA is GREAT. Who else? We have several specific battles here in WA State, and elsewhere that need to be fought.

I've posted here before about SAF victories in lawsuits and my opinion (as a career appellate lawyer with a constiutional focus) that, based on the results they repeatedly obtain, the SAF has become my favorite place to spend my 2A litigation donation bucks. I'm also a member of two other worthy major national gun rights orgs.

Erich,

Your opinion is obviously a valuable one based upon your career. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, sounds like SAF is definitely a good outfit to belong to and donate to. I would definitely like to see my contribution going to a productive cause.

My local GOTO FFL is in that group. One day I picked up a Ruger revolver that I had ordered thru him and saw a mint hardly ever shot Pre-14 in his sale rack, from about 1952. The gun was owned by another principal in the group.

It had quite expensive custom rosewood grips on it but I wanted the originals. The deal was made, with a low price, contingent upon him finding the serial numbered magnas, and I would then pay an extra $100.

He never found them. I won't tell you what I paid for the gun because y'all would say I stole it.

There are very SPECIFIC instructions on what this forum section allows for posts listed at the top of this section. As a reminder, I will post them here in part:
Ideally, we should see nothing here that does not pertain directly to threats to or expansion of 2nd Amendment RIGHTS.
That means this forum is about PENDING LEGISLATION and responses from legislators or the actions of legislators or about PENDING CHANGES in carry permit laws and issues.
Court Cases directly related to the 2nd Amendment can be discussed
