The one one the left is a 10-8 and the one on the right is a 13-3 they are in the 98% range. I don't think the 10-8 has ever been fired. The 10-8 has no box but the 13-3 does have the original box. I really have no Idea what the 13-3 is worth. I paid more for the 13-3. What would be a ball park worth on it.

I would say 650 is the upper end of the 13-3 value in like new condition with box. I laid 450 for mine and don't regret it one bit.

$350 on the 10 and $450 on the 13 - I passed on a 13 3" nickle today @ $450...

I would have loved to had bought them for your figures, but I didn't. I paid more but value is in the eye of the buyer. But I did get a good deal on the Brazilian M-10-10 3" with full underlug. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.

In a year or two you will think you got a bargain on the pair very nice!! I would love to find a 3" M-10 to go with my 3" M-13

I think the fact that three inch guns are being scooped up like peaches makes them worth and reasonable asking price. The mass of new CCW permit holders added to the mass of ever growing S&W collector/accumulators makes most prices from even a few years ago go right out the window. Factor in the "From my cold dead hands" mentality of most S&W owners and you might want to just risk buying a discontinued gun while you still see it. Chances are there is a guy behind you hoping you fumble. I wouldn't laugh at you if you said you paid $500 and $600 for them. I might cry a little inside, but I wouldn't laugh at you.

I paid $450.00 for the 10-8 and $500.00 for the 13-3 but the are both in very nice cond. and I don't feel bad at all. They are hard to find in that cond.

You didn't exactly steal them at that price, but if they're really 98%, I'd say that's a fair deal. Remember- a gun is only worth what YOU are willing to pay for it!

FWIW, I would have snapped them up as well. I'm making payments one a M65 for a little more than your 13, but I don't feel the least bit bad.

Can you ever really lose if you get what you want? Price to me is very relative if its something I really want then its just money.

Example I want a Devel bad if I where to be lucky enough to see one in store and had money price would be of no concern, as long as none of my bills would slip I would get it.

Also both of them are extremely nice looking pistols congratulations on them.

You did OK. That's about $50 - $100, less than they would sell for in my area

A very short while ago, I saw a Model 28-2 with a 6" barrel really nice target grips and original box on Gunbroker. My boss was selling it and I had the honor of prepping it for auction. Boss said only 12 rounds were ever fired through it, according to the original owner/ seller. I paid $650 for it and thought it might be too much. But, I didn't care; I was pleased with the gun. Later on, I've seen similar guns go for $700 - $850.

Like others have said, in a year or so, you'll think you got a bargain.

You did fine. You didn't steal them but the price was still in the reasonable range and as always you have to buy nice, out of production guns when they pop up. I can't remember the last time I had a chance to buy either one of those models.

I think you did fine on 2 very nice guns.
We all want to get bargains but if you're going to sit around and wait for a bargain for every gun you want you might have a long wait. I like a good deal when I find them but if there is a certain gun I'm looking for and it's in really nice condition I don't mind paying for it.
And then there are times when I see a real good deal but pass on it because it's not a gun I want. I can't buy them all and there's plenty of other guys out there looking for a deal, a bunch of them are on this forum.

I think you did good. The fixed sight revolvers with the 3" barrel are very desirable. I just bought a model 65-2 3" for $600, and a model 13-2 3" for $600 and have no regrets. Both of mine are in pristine condition.
I plan on enjoying mine.

I would probably buy more if I had a money tree lol.

I think you did really OK. If I did not have my 3 inchers already I would have cheerfully paid that. The 3" are some of the most sought after S&W production guns, and easily one of the favorite packing pieces, either in.38 Special or .357.
