What are you paying for CCI Tactical .22lr?

I ordered 3 boxes of CCI Tactical from CTD the other day. It was delivered in some apparently new packaging. What do y'all think of this?

I think I preferred the traditional CCI packaging!

Well it is loose packed bulk ammo. ;)

I don't buy from them either.

The whole extreme post-election price gouging thing turned me off. I honestly forget they're even a business anymore.

Look close. Your savings on Wolf ammo are -51.98%. That's just one example.

This has been my experience with the M-22 as well. Marginally tighter groups for me, but at half the price. If you haven't already, give the M-22's a try.-HH

Will do.

I ordered 2 boxes (375 rds.) of the CCI Tactical back in June for $20 a box just to try out, this was from PSA with free shipping. As of yet I haven't been to the range to try it out yet (having some medical issues) but as soon as I am feeling better I'm going to give it a try. I'm allways looking for .22 LR ammo that is on sale, to date I have about 4k rds. :D

just a heads up, psa has cci tactical on sale for $17.99. cheapest ive seen anywhere especially with free shipping.
Every time I go to order, when it gets to the Shipping Method tab, I get "Sorry, no quotes are available for this order at this time." and it won't continue. Maybe because I live only 6 miles away from the closest PSA?

I'll admit to not having read most of the posts, but can someone please explain to me how .22 Long Rifle and tactical are anything but an oxymoron?
C'mon, marketing gimmicks aside, what can possibly be "tactical" about any .22 rimfire ammo, even the CCI cartridges so labeled, which according to CCI's published specs, are no different ballisticaly than any other brand? This seems at first blush to be no more than a marketing ploy to sucker the ignorant and gullible... In any case, anyone who thinks they've got something "tactical" in the way of .22 rimfire ammo ought to examine their "tactics" more carefully...

Who cares what they call it. It's the closest thing to bulk mini mags. They function well and are more accurate than other bulk ammunition.

CCI Tactical uses a bullet with a slightly narrower round nose tip than their conventional 40g ammo like Mini-Mag. This is designed to reduce feeding problems in long stacked magazines. There is no other real difference as far as I can see. But they do measure different in the bullet compared to the closest other ammo ballistically, Fed AutoMatch. I find that in typical CCI QC they have less duds than Win M-22 but I do use both.

Like stated above, they're just designed a little different for feeding assistance. The description on them actually states that they were designed for the 15-22. That's why the 15-22 is on the box and every magazine ad you see. Either way, my gun seems to like it better and it's only 18.99 for a box in the tiny town I live in, in Alaska. 325 I believe in a box so it's still a bit more expensive here, but it's worth it for me. And yes, it's hard to shoot out of a window of an igloo lol.

i had the same problem and emailed them, they replied they had a problem and corrected it now.
