I've been on a tare trying the get through my last four pounds of CSB1. I bought 8lbs of this stuff during the powder shortage because it was availabe and affordable.

Between last night and this morning I cranked out 800 rounds using .357 brass and 6gr of the CSB1 under xtreme 125's. It's a very pleasant plinking round. I'm going to rest my right shoulder and elbow a bit, then it's 500 rounds of 8gr CSB1 in .44RM under 200gr xtreme rnfp, which are very pleasant in the revolvers and the 1892. Next weekend the little lady and I have a lot of shooting to do!

No photos, but today is .40S&W day with 180gr hard cast over 5.1gr Green Dot. Tomorrow is .44mag day with 240JHPs over 18gr 2400.

Ya'll have fun now, hear? I'm recovering from undergoing major knee surgery 10 days ago for the second time in six weeks and am in a full-leg cast, so there's no going down to my basement gun room - or anywhere, for that matter. Hopefully, when the cast comes off on October 12th, I'll have a little more freedom. Meanwhile, load one for me.

.44Mag 240 cast now with a light load of 231. On deck .44 Mag with a 240gr XTP over some 2400.
Have fun shooting with the better half.

I just finished setting up my Redding 2400 trimmer. I mount mine in a vise when I use it and was getting brass filings all over the place. I had a grand idea to mount a stainless steel tray between the trimmer and the 2x4 I pinch in the vise to catch all of the filings. I got the tray from Amazon yesterday and installed it this morning. Here is how it turned out:

Now I will be trimming a whole lotta 223 brass.

You win! I only loaded 100 with that same combo. Next week it will be with 748. I just can't make up my mind which powder I like.

I like the H335 but I'm down to 2 pounds and I haven't seen anymore. My club seems to have no problem getting Hodgdon powders (except H335) and I'll probably try CFE 223 next. I've got about 7 pounds of WC846 as back up, but a lot say don't use in 223.

I loaded up a box of 160 HBSWC Keith style bullets in 38 special last night. Today I was working on determining the OAL to use for a new Colt Pocket Hammer in 38 ACP. I loaded up a couple rounds with a 125 grain FP and some with a 135 grain FP. Hopefully i can make it out to the range next week to test them out.

All the bullets were cast by myself and powder coated.

I working my way through 1500 rounds of mixed once fired 223 cases. 500 rounds completed, but I still have 300 left to trim. Once that is done I will load the rest.

Lohman Arms in Houston has H335 in 1lb. and 8lb. put ups as of this evening.

100 rounds of 10mm using 180gn Nosler JHP over 10.2 AA #7. Tomorrow will be 100 more using Berry's target HPs.
