I love westerns.

Always have. I watch TV Land a lot when Big Valley or Bonanza is on.

If you had to select your top 3 western movies, what would they be?

Mine:
1) Big Jake (my all time favorite)
Who are you?
Jacob McCandles
I thought you was dead?
Not hardly!

2) The Good the Bad and the Ugly
3) Once Upon a Time in the West

Runners up....
For a Few Dollars More
Fistful of Dollars
Hang'em High
Rio Lobo
The Magnificent Seven

1)Anything with "The Duke" Too many come to mind to make a choice.

"The Cowboys", "The man who shot Liberty Valance", "The Searchers", "Hondo" "The Sons Of Katie Elder" to name a few.

2) Clint Eastwood, "Joe Kidd", Hangem High, and yea even "Paint Your Wagon.

3) Tombstone has to have a place now in my list. I think the cast and the "I'll be your huckleberry" made this an instant favorite for me.

"That ole devil" as described by Curly Bill, is beautiful!

Let me add:

Open Range (Duvall and Costner are great)
Lonesome Dove (I know, tv series.)
True Grit (both the Duke and Jeff Bridges versions)
