Yesterday, I was at the range and I started having my first problems with my 15-22. I mainly use federal ammo (works flawless), but I tried out some aguila ammo and on my second shot the shell casing didn't eject and got stuck in between the ejector and the side of the upper receiver.

After that, things went down hill. My mp 15-22 couldn't even get federal to run properly. Obviously, it could be a quick fix and all I have to do is the clean the gun and remove all of the carbon build up from previous outings and lubricate the bolt. However, I am just a little worried that the aguila shell casing bent my ejector out of place...would that be possible?

Extractor, not ejector. The extractor is attached to the bolt, the ejector is attached to the upper. Extractors on this rifle have a reputation of blowing off especially if an OOB round is fired. I have spares on order for mine...just in case.

I had the same problem that ammo

I had a similar problem with the PMC Moderator ammo my girl and I used this weekend. Had like 8 stovepipes out of a PT 35-round mag, but only in her rifle. The Aguila Hyper Velocity(kicks like a mule in comparison to most .22LR rounds) and Winchester M-22 were freakin' awesome though.
