I loaded 200 rounds of 45 acp for my gold cup and also 200 rounds of 223 for my Ar 15
The 45 acp's were 200gr Penn lswc with 4.0 bullseye
The 223's were 55 gr Hornady fmjbt with 24.5 grs H223, Hornady AMAX 52 gr with 25.5 H335, Hornady VMAX 55 gr with 24.5 H335

Tonight I loaded up 100 rounds of Berry's plated 115gr RN for my S&W 5906. 50 with 5.0gr.'s of Unique, and 50 with 4.5gr.'s of W231. Also loaded up some test loads for my S&W 1911. Cast 230gr. RN with 5.5gr. of W231. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to try them out this weekend.

Yesterday I shot these test loads, and from what I found.

9mm 115gr Berry's with 5.0gr of Unique with OAL of 1.150" was too much recoil, shot pretty close to POA. The 5.0gr of Unique fills the 9mm case up pretty high, so the initial thought is load less grains and seat the bullet slightly deeper around 1.140"

9mm 115gr Berry's with 4.5gr of W231 with OAL of 1.150" shot just a little low of POA, but recoil was more towards factory loads--and was as accurate as I have shot anything else out of my 5906. One thing that I liked about the 4.5gr of W231, is that it doesn't fill up the case nearly as full as the Unique. I will start my next batch with seating the same lead just slightly deeper around 1.140" this hopefully increase pressure enough to increase POI.

45acp with 230gr and 6.0gr of Unique with an OAL of 1.165 was too much recoil for me. While this load and length works extremely well with 230gr Berry's RN plated bullets, it was a much different beast with cast. So I've either got to increase the OAL to 1.175", decrease powder amount, or both. I did have a 2 jam on the feeding, which had the casing being pinched, so I believe I'll need to put a little more taper crimp on the lead, as I crimped at .472"

Today I loaded 400 rounds of 45ACP, all the empty brass I had on hand, to feed my new Springfield Armory 1911. Tomorrow (day off) it will be about 1100 rounds of 40 S&W, then some 38's on Wednesday. The 45 load is a new one, 7.3 grains of Longshot with a 200-grain Rainier plated HP. Should be fun to shoot, and still a half-grain under the max load.

This past weekend I loaded up my first rifle rounds.

On the left are 25-35's loaded with 19grs of Benchmark, and 117 Horandy BTSP. Mistakenly grabbed the BTSP instead of Round Nose, so will only be loaded one at a time in the Winchester to avoid and primer detonation issues. On the right are some .223 rounds for my Mini-14, loaded with 22grs. of Benchmark and Hornady 55gr. FMJ with cannelure.

**Already contacted Hornady to find out why their seater die is marring my 25-35 lead. Awaiting a response from them.

Today, loaded 2,000 rounds of 45 acp with cast lead bullets.
Last week cast 3800 200 grain swc for 45 acp and 1,400 215 grain gc swc and 2,600 200 grain rnfp for the 44 mags. The Lead gods were smiling on me. I harvested 3 buckets of dirt berm bullets in less than an hour. Then it took 3 days to melt into ingots, cast and size the bullets. The berm was dry sand. Went back again and in 4 hours got 1.5 buckets of range scrap. Wet sand don't sift!!
