What do you PLAN to reload next?

I'm loading 100 .357 Magnum right now. I had prepped and primed the cases a couple years ago, and they were just sitting there on the shelf, waiting to be loaded. IMR 4227 with Hornady 158 XTP's, primarily for my 28-2. I've had good success with that combo in other guns, and I haven't tried a load yet that didn't work well in that particular revolver.

What I load next depends entirely on what I find in my stash of brass!

This is a no brainer for me. I finally broke down and purchase some Riley Tubes in 410 and 28 gage for my 12 gage Beretta 686. BTW, also have a 20 gage 686. So, now I have all 4 calibers covered for Skeet matches and practice. One plus of the 410 is that it's the cheapest shot shell caliber to reload at just 3.80 per box of 25. Yeah, lead shot is not cheap like it once was. Good news is 410 only uses 1/2 ounce and just 14 grains of H110. The slight downside is the 410 does require more accurate shooting so my scores will drop off for a while. But less recoil and lower cost means I can shoot 4 to 6 rounds more than I can with a 12 gage and Practice means a LOT in Skeet. So long term I'll become a much better shot.

So, the next thing I'll be reloading will be 410 and 28 gage shot shells. Just have to spend some time shooting purchased 410 and 28 gage to build up a bank of hulls. BTW, that isn't cheap, either caliber runs 10-11 bucks a box.

9mm.

I haven't reloaded 9mm for quite a long time. I haven't even shot much 9mm for a while. When I did, I used generic factory ammo. My pistols weren't all that accurate and I felt I wasn't missing much with bulk ammo. It made no sense for me to reload 9mm. I saved the brass though!

Things have sure changed. Factory 9mm ain't so cheap any more. And I just bought one of the newer Sig P210 pistols. Yes a P210 in name only; not an original. But the thing is so accurate with generic ammo, I >have< to test some handloads. I'm thinking of using it for my centerfire gun in Bullseye matches. I've been using a 1911 in 38 Super, but it looks like the Sig 9mm will outperform it.

So.... It's time to dust off the 9mm dies. Got plenty of components, so it's down to pulling the handle and conducting a few tests.

Reloading

Just started 45acp, then 38 Special and finally 9mm. It will keep me busy for several weeks. It's to hot in the garage in the Summer in Florida, so, I do all my reloading in the cooler months.
I load enough to last for a years worth of shooting.

Nothing. I bought 7000 rounds of .22 in June to scratch my shooting itch when I saw what was happening to reloading supplies. I think I'll chew on the 22's until I see primers again. I have plenty of them but I'm afraid to to wittle down my stock with no resupply in sight. We will see how long I can hold out. Reloading is more than 50% of my shooting interest.

My reloading has been on hold for several months due to a move (still in progress, it's complicated). But this weekend I'm moving my benches and all my loading stuff into my new shop, so I'm excited to be making progress toward getting back in business. Meanwhile I have plenty of previously loaded ammo on hand. Next reloading project will probably be further work on loads for my recently acquired Winchester 71 .348.
