What do you shoot first?

I have just about every brand Of 22 made.
But I love my Mini Mags!
The others go down range into the target first.

My tribe fires factory new ammo only for new purchases or maintenance checks. We use professionally reman ammo for proficiency. It is not a good time to be moving glass just for the fun of it. We move/zero scopes only if needed. We have rotated revolvers and lever guns into the primary recreational shooting and use our reloads for most of that. We have reduced long range work on days the wind is winning, wasting primers and or primers isn’t worth it. The larger calibers always get better mileage so I personally am using these lean ammo times to rotate them in ....until I holler uncle.

Put your 30, 20 and 10 round mags away, use the 5 round at the range. Mag dumps are out! Shoot your single shot or lever guns. Don’t waste ammo on targets you know you cannot hit. Never shoot more than half your ammo! Creative conservation is key to maintaining proficiency. The shortages are real and neither AAA or OnStar can or will rescue you.
