What do you think this Clark Custom Combat is worth?

Well, there isn’t a single Clark revolver on GBer and Only 3 Clark 1911’s and the cheapest one is $1950.00.

That is what he wants but no takers yet. He may get one out of the 340 million people in America.

I’m not trying to be a jerk but people ask ridiculous prices all the time on GB. Nice and neat gun but not worth what it cost to customize. What matters is h0w much joy it brings the owner.

You're spot on. "Asking" isn't "Getting". I think a lot of folks on GB, and other sites like Arms List, are throwing out crazy numbers just to see if they get a really motivated buyer. The best thing on GB is to search for sold items, not what's available.

When I was at the Lakeland Fl show I saw one . It was an original , Jim Clark had built it . It was a M66 and had a shorter barrel . He was asking $1100 , and if I had the cash I would have bought it . The trigger was like my 845 , it was sweet . If he's still there next show , it'll be mine .

i picked up one at local gun store, $495 out the door, about a month ago. i asked the same sort of question. tested value at Pasadena gun show. the results were exactly what other members had to say. a coupe dealers would buy at $600. no offers from other patrons. hope that helps. kenny

oh and no i did not sell for $600 but think i could around here easily.

I have this 14-2 Clark Custom Combat that I just acquired. It is a beautiful gun with a bunch of extras. Just wondering what you folks think the value of this gun would be. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Why not just tell us what you paid for it? You can then ask opinions regarding the price paid.
