Hello Everyone,

I got to wondering what other people have given or bought for their wives or girlfriends in the way of carry guns? For example, this past Christmas, my wife wanted a gun for Concealed Carry. She loved my model 36 Smith but wanted something a little lighter. So I looked around and found her a Smith model 637 airweight in 32 H&R Magnum. When we shot it the first time, she was not expecting the "snappy recoil" (as she says) and she said she loves the fact she has six shots to my five. So she carrys that and two HKS speedloaders with Federal Hollow points. She really like the little revolver, is deadly accurate with it, and is lightening fast with the reloads. So what is your girlfriend, wife, or partner carrying?

Missus P&R Fan got her permit a few months ago. I am going to give her my M642 that I never carry. I think it will be a good one for her. Only thing is, I DON'T want her to carry it in her purse. It would take an hour to find it, and there would probably be a Tic-Tac in the muzzle.

Fortunately in shooting, sex doesn't matter. Women and men should carry whatever's comfortable, and whatever they're proficient with.

SWMBO's CCW Piece

The wife started out with a model 60-15 with HiViz sights, but decided that it got too heavy. So, as a replacement, she got herself a M&P 360. Loaded with Federal 357Mag (158gr JSPs). Everybody is surprised when they ask what she carries...

She is qualified to carry 45ACP!

After she and friend was carjacked, I can't keep a pistol out of her hands...

Currently a S&W M642.

She also owns and has carried Charter Arms Pink Lady.

My wife has gone through phases. She started out back in 2001
with a M642, went to a Glock 26, then to a Glock 33, which she
carried for a few years before switching back to revolvers.

For over a year it's been the 632-2 (.327 Fed Mag.)

Nothing, she HATES guns but we've been married 44 yrs. so something is working for us.

She tried a S&W M642, and a SigSauer P238. She finally settled on S&W BG380 and she is never without it. She kept the other two but she never carries them. Larry

My better half began with a Model 60, then a Springfield XD40. After that a KelTec PF 9. I bought myself a Kahr CW9 and she took it away from me! I had to get myself another so that's what we both now carry, and have for more than two years. Still completely satisfied.
