What Gun in Collateral?

Saw all but the first part of this movie on TV Saturday, and another thread made me wonder if anyone knows what gun Tom Cruise was using. Looked like maybe a 9mm from size(?) but never saw enough to tell which model.

I've been trying to watch that over the last couple of days on TNT, but the wife keeps interrupting. I haven't gotten to really watch it since it came out, but I recall the weapon looking a lot like an H&K USP full-size.

HK USP.

What make/model was the IWB holster that "Vincent" used?, is the question that has yet to be answered. Most say it was a design/prop developed specifically for the movie.

The Alley scene where Vincent confronts two thugs to recover his briefcase, is regarded by many gun aficionados as one of the best [realistic] CQB quick weapon draw - shoot-out scenes ever filmed.

His personal gun was an H&K USP-45. The gun at the end where he's hunting down Jamie Foxx and Mrs.Smith ( the one the guard dropped) is a S&W 5906.

Here's a photo of the mysterious IWB Holster Vincent was wearing. This is a frame taken from the scene where the cab rolls over. The holster is only exposed momentarily.

Thanks for the links. The 5906 at the end was the only one I saw clearly, and that was the one I was wondering about.
