What gun is in demand right now?

I'm with ladyT...I want a 10mm revolver.

Seems anything with a short barrel, as far as revolvers go, is at a premium and sought after.

Mountain Guns, especially .45 ACP and .41 Mag seem scarce.

Semi-Autos? Who knows. If it is not a 1911 or BHP, I'm not interested.

I don't have a clue what the latest fad gun is. I did see a really nice M94 Winchester in .32 caliber yesterday. The guy was asking $1000, and it was in darn nice condition. I need to look at it again and take along my booklet with serials and dates. In handguns, I'm not buying any plastic guns. Sorry. And I don't even like 10mm guns. I've got a stable of .41 magnums, even a factory engraved and a Scandium. They'll just have to do. I haven't seen a new revolver I even was interested in for a few years now.

Its not that I can't or won't afford one, they just don't make any I want. They did, but it was a while back. Even before the stupid lock, MIM, or the barrel pin they saved money by leaving out. I go to all the gunshows, ready willing and able to buy. I just don't see anything that really interests me. I think they call this malaise.

deanodog, I agree there must me quite a demand for the Winchester and Marlin .357 carbines. I routinely see .44 and .45LC lever action carbines, but rarely a .357, other than the occasional Rossi...

Whatever gun you are looking for! Geesh that wasn't too hard to figure out....:)

It seems that whenever I start looking for a gun, the things disappear. I can't find one so I decide to buy something else instead. Usually a little while later I find the original gun. I know that I am not the only one that has this happen.

AMEN! Seems like that for "everything" I'm looking for at the time..........guns, tools, equipment, etc. :)

I hear Sig is going to come out with a 10mm semiauto in good old fashion steel. Another gun I would like is a 41mag lever action rifle.

I don't know what's in highest demand now, but I can sure tell that AR-15s have run their course again. CDNN can barely get the prices low enough to sell all the liquidating inventory. If you plan to buy one at LGS negotiate on price!!

Striker fired polymer pistols like S&W M&P and Shield, HK VP-9, Walther PPQ, Sig P320

2 new offerings:
- S&W 929.
- The new PC ported M&Ps will probably do quite well too.

I think they call this cheap:D

My son got a new S&W AR15 sporter for $530 shipped (plus $15 for his FFL). I told him that he couldn't get hurt at that price.
I also told him that it would be a long time before he could sell it at a profit too as it seems like every swinging stick and his brother already have one. :D

I was at my LGS the other day and the autos were selling like they were for free. Plastic of course. The 380's.

I was trying to ask what's the latest trend right now is it plastic.

The lady T had the answer with 10mm.

I won't even talk about a Winchester 32. I was at a yard sale and seen it for $275. Never listen to the misses.
