So what guns are on your wish list for 2011??

For me, a pre-64 Winchester Model 94 (saddle ring carbine or Eastern carbine if I am lucky) in .30 WCF, another N-frame Smith & Wesson but not sure if it is to be a Model 29, 629, or a Model 28. (Maybe even an Outdoorsman!)

A decent pump shotgun for the house again that I don't care about in finish, too many have been nice guns.

Not On the "Need" List

I have wanted a model 35 S&W for a while now but never have run across any in my visits to gun shows or shops (Did find one New in Box but was advised "Not For Sale") and I have never bought any gun without having held it first so the auction sites are out of the question. Consequently this makes a Model 35 S&W Revolver a "want" but not a "need". If luck is with me and likely when I'm low on funds, I'll walk into a shop or show and there it will be and me scrambling to find a way for it to follow me home! Older S&W .22LR & .22 Magnum revolvers seem to be addictive! Here is wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!!! Good Hunting!

If I can find em.
1. A single line K-38
2. A five screw Combat Magnum
3. A shooter grade RM
4. A first year HP
5. A nice 681
6. A nickeled M-15
7. A 3 1/2 inch nickeled M-27

That is if Santa dosent bring em to me for Christmas!

LCR

Howdy,
Not very exotic, but I'd like to add a Ruger LCR to my Kayaking kit.
Ruger claims it will take any abuse I can give it as well as anything else can.
It's lighter and cheaper than a model 60 and will be no great loss if abused into a rusty pile of crumbs.
Full report around next November.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Thanks
Mike

here is my 2011 gun list
1. s&w model 60 .357 magnum 3inch barrel
2. s&w model 686 .57 magnum 4inch barrel
3.s&w model 10 .38 special 4inch barrel
4.s&w model 64 .38special 4 inch barrel

Snubbie nickel 19 S&W

Model 94 Winchester in 7/30 Waters

Both difficult to come by at a semi-reasonable price . . . . :(

I spent way to much on guns this year so I have no plans to buy any next year. If I can stay away from gunshops, gunshows and auction sites maybe I'll be alright! I would like to have a 696 though.......

Maybe a Uberti/Colt Burgess carbine in .44-40. I found out about them as a kid; they stayed rare and expensive. I was startled to find a reproduction available this year. The whole idea is completely frivolous, so we'll just have to see how things go.

Never did get a real 1917 Smith, so maybe I will stumble across one, but not for $29.95.

And somehow I have never managed to keep a nice little Model 15
Smith.

Or maybe I'll just shoot what I have and be content with that.

I have no plans to buy any next year but I have been there before. If I ran into a model 64 with a 4 inch standard barrel I would be tempted. Also..............

As usual of late, I plan to be different. I don't have any guns on my list for 2011. Heresy you say? There is a point in life where all the gun needs and wants are filled, and I have reached that point.

Let me know how that works out for ya! ;)
