What guns are on your list for 2011?

My plan is to send a few impaired gun in for repair. A 1006 with a bent extractor, a 625 that needs a trigger job, and a set of grips for an engraved model 60. I have just ordered a set of grips from Pat Grashorn for a Colt Python that will make that gun complete.

I was thinking of torching my house so I could get the insurance money to buy a bunch of engraved Colts and S&W's but then where would I keep them?

According to my wife I don't need to buy any guns in 2011. She says I bought them all in 2010:) I'm sure I'll find a way.

I don't plan to buy any in 2011. I didn't plan to buy any in 2010 but my records show a 4"nickel 25-5, a 4" nickel 27-2, a 4"15-3, a 2" 64-2 and a 642-1. I did sell 2 1911's several long guns and a Sig 228 to balance things out. Hope I have as much self-control next year. Joe

I imagine this year I will "have to have" a:
Model 57 (gotta have one to go with my 58) 4"
A Model 36 or two..

I need to squander, er, spend some funds on reloading and gunleather too.....

1. Rock River Tactical Operator 2

2. Barrett 98 Bravo .338 Lapua

3. SA Range Officer

M&P pro 9mm just fired one today and loved it. Shot almost as good as my 952 at a third the price.

I think it's time to put together a precision-ish varmint gun. There's 'yotes singing on the wife's family farm, and I want to get out there for a few.

If it helps, I'd start in our classifieds! I'm betting you can find some of those there!

I hope to sell more than I buy, but that never seems to work out the way I plan.

Usually wind up trading for something else and the safe is still full.

686 Plus 6"
M&P 340
AK47 (I'm upgrading from my current 5.56 platform)

I would also like to get into reloading this year, for obvious reasons. So I guess you could add the front half of the Dillion catalog to my 2011 "wish" list.

I'd like to get a 100th Anniversary Colt 1911, if I can scratch up the cash.
There's a special one on GB now and it's only $50,075 with 29 days to go on the auction.

There are 80 bids so far so get busy and start 'scratching' the cash!
