What guns are on your list for 2011?

I don't "plan" to buy anything but if I happen to come across a 2" Model 64, 3" Model 13 or 3" Model 65 for a reasonable price there's a good chance that they will find their way into my safe...

My current Grail Guns:
Ruger Redhawk .357 magnum
Glock 34 (I'd love a 17L or 24 actually)
Garand
Model 60 Pro Series or an SP-101 from Gemini Customs
SIG 210
Another Kimber 82G
10/22
T****s Public Defender (no, I don't know why, but I want one)

Think My gun allowance will go to My motorcycle, towards a faring which has the built in radio & speaker mounts.

2011 looks to be a slow year for me, may confiscate a few but doubt the government will let me keep them.lol

A G.I. 1911-A1! Or one as close as possible to that configuration. Probably either a Para or Springfield.
An AR, preferably a Colt.
Aside from that, I'm taking the new year off from buying guns I spent way to much this year!

still iffy on my number 1, but here it goes!

1. 629 stealth hunter or an AR of some kind

2. Ruger LCR- supposedly super tough

3. Beretta Neos (for the wife and I)

I don't do lists anymore. Tried it for awhile, but then every year SHOT had things that made me change it. So the list was never complete.
I'm pretty much at the saturation point as well, really just need to concentrate on shooting what I got and getting a few loose end projects finished up.

So what guns are on your wish list for 2011??

For me, a pre-64 Winchester Model 94 (saddle ring carbine or Eastern carbine if I am lucky) in .30 WCF, another N-frame Smith & Wesson but not sure if it is to be a Model 29, 629, or a Model 28. (Maybe even an Outdoorsman!)

A decent pump shotgun for the house again that I don't care about in finish, too many have been nice guns.

Sir, there's all sorts of things I want (most of them frivolous), but what I actually need is a good .22 rifle. Been without one for several years.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

i bought too many guns this year already ( according to the chancelor of the exchequer :) )

buying guns is like pornography. i cant describe it but i know it when i see it. i mean, i dont go to a gun shop with anything particular in mind. but if it jumps out at me and its interesting. it may well become mine.

i really do intend to start some gunsmithing projects this year. i bought so many guns with projects in mind that i never got the projects started.

i want to send 1 of my 1911 to Colts for a model O tune up and other work.
i want to send a marlin off to brockmans for a cut and tune
i have a few smiths that i want to send to Ham Bowen.

i have been acquiring too many guns i dont shoot i mean to take them to the range but i take other favorites instead. is that wrong ? life is too short. i want to customize several to what I want. stuff that was never or rarely offered from the factory. i'm not planning on selling any time soon so the money is not a serious concern. and if i do sell, i think the conversions i want to have done will be desirable.

i do have an excess of inventory and i may deaccession some to free space for more interesting items and as well as provide funds for the custom work.

I think I will require only one gun this year. Any more guns than that will have to come my way circumstansially, as with most of the others.
The only one I PLAN to acquire is a .22-250 of some brand that will be released at a later date. Altho, I have been looking seriously at a gently used Tikka T3 in .22-250.

I think a S&W 48 in 22 -22mag 6in . and a 610 pre lock 6in and a marland lever in 444 would do me

In honor of the centennial anniversary for the1911, I am saving coins for an Ed Brown, Executive Elite with the Gen III finish.

Man I thought I had it bad. I haven't even thought about next years' guns. LOL

My plan is to jump on the wagon in 2011 - not buy a single gun. Second part of my plan is to spend more time shooting the guns I already own.

Out
West

1. Browning 1911-22
2. S&W 43C (which I think we've been waiting a year or more to release)
3. And if the mystery gun that Browning is going to disclose on Jan 1 is a Browning 1911 .45acp I will need to buy that.
