Ok, what guns (rifles, shotguns, etc) are on your short list right now?

Myself, this year has been a very good one for me, my list got much shorter with my 624, my Model 29 4-inch, my Triple Lock, my OM Flat Top .357 and my NM Ruger .44 Flat Top. But I still have a couple of guns on there, an 1851 Navy Colt replica (I know, very cheap but haven't got the money at the moment), a really clean Model 10 6-inch, a .32-20 M & P, a .38-40 Colt New Service, a Model 1895 Winchester carbine in .30-40, and a nice Mauser Broomhandle.

Wow..you have some varied interests!

My list is long but at the top is Mod 63 2 inch and a Marlin 39.

Current short list:

Flat latch Model 49
Pinned Model 40
2" RB Model 10

Every time I cross one off the list another gun gets added...

Sir, a .22LR rifle. It's probably the most useful gun there is, so naturally I don't have one. :-/

Hope this helsp, and Semper Fi.

Looking at a Mossberg 802 with the pink camo stock.
For my daughter. The Cricket Rifle no longer fits. How fast they grow!
A small 1911 45 for my wife. She can't seem to get hits with her S&W638, but she tore the center out with my buddies Para LDA45.
Myself?

You can have all the guns you want just not all at one time.

1. M-58
2. 4 5/8" Lipseys Ruger .44 special (have a 5 1/2")
3. Anything else cool I can lay my hands on!

Marlin Model 1888 rifle or carbine in .44-40

Pennsylvania flint lock rifle made by John Bivens

I'm sure there must be more, but I can't think of any.

Bought another S&W Model 27-2 last week. Now I have one for each of my grandsons. Paid three times more for it than I did my first 27 in 1973.

My wife says I've got all the guns I need. She says I don't have any more room to store them, however...I can always find room for one more.

I guess my "short list" would include:

A two inch barrel K frame, round but, either blue or stainless in either .38 or .357.

A Browning Hi-Power

A Ruger SP101 2" in .357

A Remington 870 12 gauge Police, parkerized with "military finish" wood stock.

A S&W semi auto! (I don't have a one!)

Ok, how's that for a short list. I could always come up with something else, but these would satisfy my "wants" right now!

-1911 (for my wife2B)
-M1 Garand
-Remington 1100
-Good bolt rifle in .30-06
-All-weather (stainless, synthetic) flintlock rifle. *I know, I know, but as long as the earth's made of rocks, that gun'll shoot.*

I have 'bout everything else on my want/ need list.
