What guns do you carry the most?

The gun I most often carry is my Charter Arms 44 Spl Bulldog 3" revolver because I trust its stopping power. Also own two other 38 Spl Snub nosed revolvers, one a 642-1 Smith & Wesson 38 Spl which I carry as a second gun, either on me or in the vehicle. After reading more about stopping power on
some forums I am wondering about the stopping power of
the 38 Spl compared to the 44Spl or 45's.

Most of the time, either the 4" 329PD (with .44 Specials!) or the fullsize Springfield MC Operator. Both have Tucker holsters (HF3/HF1), on a Tucker belt.....fantastic concealment under a jacket or short sleeve button-up shirt.

Once in awhile, one of the Glocks, each of which has it's own Alessi CQC/S holster.

S&W 442 in the right front pocket/pocket holster/speed strips, always. (Unless I'm on my mountain bike, then it's the 3" NAA Earl in .22 Mag., front pocket)

my carry is the Kimber .45 Ultra Carry, in a Supertuck about 90% of the time with one of the hollow point commercially available loads.

Glock 19, SIG P220, S&W 642 and a Kel-Tec .32.

One 9 or 45 and one of the smaller guns for a back up.

Springfield XDsc .40 in a Cross Breed Supertuck is my current carry. Before that was a Glock 27 in a Supertuck. I have, and occasionally still do, pocket-carry a S&W 642 with speed strips in the other pocket. I have also carried a P32 but recently picked up a Ruger LCP for that role but have not actually carried it yet. I liked the P32 for pocket carry as it was so flat and the pocket holster (DeSantis I think) I have for it also has a slot for a spare mag. That is very handy and frees up the other pocket for change, keys, etc. My deep backup was a Hi Standard Derringer in .22 Mag but that role is currently filled by an NAA five shot .22 Mag derringer.

Either a P99Ti in .40 with a spare mag, or an 85ul with .38+p and 2 speed strips.

For the P99 I use an ArmorDillo Concealment OWB, the 85ul gets a Don Hume JIT.

5" 1911 most of the time, and a PM9 when for those times when a T shirt and shorts are called for. Often with the 1911, the PM9 will be in my pocket as well. When the PM9 is primary, often an LCP in "Thunderwear" is along as well.

Now, before anybody gets offended that there are no SMITHS in that list... special occasions call for a 58 or my very first backup... a 3" 65, and on rare occasions when open carry in public is called for, a 4506.

When it's cooler and I'm wearing a jacket or sport coat, I wear a Browning Hi-Power Practical in a shoulder holster. When it's warm and I'm wearing a t-shirt and and shorts or jeans I wear one of the new Bodyguard 38's with laser. God Bless.

Most often my 642 with Speer GD SB, IWB or pocket
Sometimes my Russian Makarov 9x18MAK in a sholder holster or a fobus paddle
If I'm wearing a coat it might be my 457 in a hip scabbard
And if I'm hiking in the woods its likely to be my M66 loaded with .357 ammo on an open carry belt rig. (oh yeah, that's not CCW...)

J Frame 940 black S.S. 9mm moon clip for summer
winter 610 4" in vest cross draw

I carry my j-frame 638-3 at work to conceal but kicking around the farm I prefer the bigger 66.

Lately it's my Ruger SP101 3". I carried my S&W 66 2.5 no dash for many years. Since it's getting old (like me) I decided to retire the 66 as an EDC.

Kel Tec PF9 when clothing restrains anything bigger, 9mm Sigma in my Milt Sparks for all the rest of the time.

M&P .40 compact. But in the "higher risk environments", an XDm .40 4.5 with a 2 mag pouch.
