Just curious as to the average price of .22 LR (box of 50) going for in your are? Here it is about $8.00 a box. I believe it is higher in some areas. A friend in Pa. says he can find it for $5.00 a box. Curiosity is all. I have paid anywhere from less than $10.00 a brick to over $200.00 a brick over the years.

Sunday evening 500 rds of CCI Mini-Mags sold for $200.00 plus a 15% buyers premium. Way too much for me.

I have paid $3.50 box of standard cci, $7.50 to 8.50 for mini mags and Wildcats and about 30 for brick in the st Louis area. Right place at the right time.

I bought some CCI shorts at Walmart a while back regular price but don't remember the exact amount. i just happened to see them and bought a couple boxes but didn't really need more 22 although I didn't have many shorts. I left most of them for others. Like powder and primers I learned from previous shortages and bought while the buying was good.

LGS- $8-$10 per 50 for standard .22

Chinamart- $8 for 100 mini mags

Very difficult to find here in AZ, and price varies among vendors, and by type of ammo. Of course, there's a wide variety in .22 prices when things are 'normal', depending on the ammo.

I've recently bought CCI standard velocity for $10/100 and $8/50 at different stores. SV is my preferred ammo for my target .22s and suppressed shooting, so I've been willing to pay a bit more for it when I can get it.

One store had CCI 'clean' for $40/100... I didn't buy any.

These are all gun shops. I haven't seen a box of any ammunition (except shotgun) on the shelf at WM in over a year.

Haven't seen any in stores here for quite a while... they were back up at the old prices we saw years ago in the last "22 ammo shortage" at the one gun show I attended recently. I bought what at the time seemed a ridiculous amount of ammo when it was available semi-reasonably and I'm shooting it at a restrained pace in hopes it will last through this "shortage." I'm old enough now that if can make it through this and one more cycle of "feast and famine," I'll probably not need any more after that.

Last time I bought 22 was at Cabelas.
Bought 500 rounds of Mini Mags.
I think it was about 10 cents a round.
Chose 9mm over it twice at Warehouse.
Chose 223 over it at Base BX.

Saw a box of Federal 2 weeks ago 555 rounds for $90.00 I just shook my head and walked out of the shop.... SW PA

Here in CT if you can find it in a gun store it would be $10.64 / box of 50 when tax (6.35%) is figured in.
A few weeks ago I bought some in RI for $5.35 / box of 50 when tax (7%) is figured in.
