What is the gun with the best trigger out of the box?

Running a box of 22Mags thru a High Standard Derringer,
will improve the felt trigger pull on all your other guns. :D
Our '79 K22M gets the most smiles from other shooters.
The old Gold Cup for autos.
The 460s are superb as well, if you can lift them.
Crisp at about 4.5lbs.
My USAF issued Win 52D, was a 200/18x prone rifle.
The Styer SL/223, with set triggers,
5 in one ragged hole at 100yds, prone or elbows on bench.
Shot the group to POA.

I have HS Derringer and thought it was bad. Until I bought a VP 70 and a Sardius -

Their trigger pull is to the HS what is it to all other pistols.

German Master Shop SIG X-5s / X-6s with the L1 trigger, or the S&W model 41.

Revolver wise, out of the box was the models 15-2 Dan Wesson. Although I have a 1931 K22 outdoorsman with king target sights that has a slightly better trigger. Doubt it was like that out of the box.

Auto wise its the S&W
52-1 had the best trigger, followed by all may M41’s and the M103 High standard “space gun”.

Have a few guns with great factory trigger pulls. I agree with 6string above about the Hammerli Free Pistol. After it’s cocked then the set trigger engaged, it’s down to ounces. Only move the tip of my right index finger. Larry
