What is the worst Movie You ever saw?

Another bad (but not worst) movie I saw was Lone Survivor. I guess you could say I'm not mad at the movie, but more so at the event. They should have killed those villagers in the beginning. The fact that they spared their lives just left me in a bad mood the entire movie.

Actually, one of the most recent horrible movies I ever saw was Silver Linings Playbook. It reminded me why I dislike most of Philadelphia (It takes place right outside of Philly). All the characters did was yell, get angry at each other, heavily drink, and cause a bunch of stupid drama. It was Jersey Shore meets Philadelphia.
I did not watch it but my wife watched and i could hear it. Thats what i thought too just a bunch of yelling. My wife said it was stupid i told het "I told you soo"

There are so many bad Movies that are actually very entertaining if You give Them a chance.
One good one was Tall Tail,Where a Kid meets, Pecos Bill and Paul Bunyan and John Henry and actually had a good moral ay the end.
I also liked A American Carol, It's a take off of a Christmas Carol only it takes shots at Michail Moore and Terrorists and the way the Left has tried to destroy America.Maybe that's why it never went main stream.
I loved that movie when I was a kid.

Dude! Seriously? I love that movie! What's not to like about The Sound of Music?

This must have been the director's cut. I don't remember that scene.

And to the mention of "Dances With Wolves", I agree. It was so bad I repressed the memory.

I nominate Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy for the most incoherent film. Either that or I really need a hearing aid. :)
I rate it up near the top as a great movie.

Gary Oldman, for his adaptation to various characters, is the Lon Chaney of the era. He played a great George Smiley; very much different than Alec Guinness in the BBC miniseries.

Colin Firth is the quintessential patrician who does a masterful job as a double agent at the top of British Intelligence.

Mark Strong is a superb character actor.

If you're seeking an action film, you're going to be disappointed. The Le Carre books are complicated espionage novels, and they rarely translate easily to the cinema. The original BBC miniseries takes six parts to tell the story, but only barely. So, the current movie has to be chopped to get the story into two, or so, hours.

Since modern movies tend to be over-saturated with action, and underdeveloped with plot and character development, it's really nice to have movies which rely on character development and dialogue to entertain.

It's also one of the reasons I enjoyed "The King's Speech".

As to the worst: The scenery chewing of Vincent Price in his "thriller/chiller" movies.

Just for the record I have never made it through any of the godfather movies. I love my mafia movies, but those just didn't do it for me.

"III" was a task to watch it. Two hours of Al Pacino chewing the scenery, and Talia Shire competing with him for face time. It also established Sofia Coppola as having absolutely no talent.

Diane Keaton was a downer in all three.

Nightmares......

That movies was beyond weird and made no sense at all. The guy must have been on some really heavy drugs when he wrote it....

I was based on David Lynch's nightmares of being a father of a daughter at an early age who had some deformations that required extensive surgeries. At the time he was also living in a poor part of Philadelphia that gave rise to the bleak landscape. Lynch was also into Franz Kafka, who although imaginative was a certified looney. I mean, when he woke up one time he was a cockroach. Sheeesh.

Worst movie I ever saw...that's easy, anything with Pauly Shore, Adam Sandler or Will Farrel!!!!!

Anyone remember that hilarious episode of "The Simpsons" where they have a rocket ship getting ready to take off on a one way flight to Mars???...on board they have the above three morons plus Michael Moore, Oprah, Jessie Jackson, the reverend Al Sharpton and a few other equally worthless individuals. I don't know how they got away with that one!!!
