I am looking at a S&W Revolver, Ser Nmbr 329098, but the model number I have never seen before. Where the model number should be is the following:

0B
74853
Anybody have any idea what this is. It looks just like a model 10, has three (3) screws on the plate, Square Butt, and a 4 inch pencil barrel.

If you have information on this, PLEASE respond to [email protected]

Those are "inspection/assembly" numbers.

Is there a prefix to the s/n? Like a D? Got any pictures you can post?

Light on info here...

1) Is there a screw at the front of the trigger guard as you look from the muzzle.

2) If yes, take the grips off and count the sideplate screws again.

3) List all barrel markings and location.

4) Does the right side plate have a single line "Made in USA" or a 4 line address or nothing?

5) Read the s/n on the bottom of the butt.

We'll get it with the info.

Stab in the dark here ,,38 hand ejector ,model of 1905 4th. change ,4" STANDARD barrel, (they didn't have a heavy barrel until 1961).
Probably about 1917.
Just a guess.

Regards ,,,AL
