What is Your Favorite Dessert ?

We had threads this week to elect a national sandwich, a lot of good suggestions were tossed in the ring with no final election! We also had a thread on the food you hate. I guess after reading that one welllll.?.......
Now what is your favorite dessert, you know there's always room for JELLO

Mine when I can find it, my all time favorite is a French Apple Pie
When I'm eating out, fine dining, Creme Brûlée and Taramisu
And I cannot deny my Pennsylvania Dutch roots, a good wet bottom Shoo Fly Pie
Those are favorites and I'm in schleck heaven!

My all time fave is Banana Pudding with a nice tall meringue (my old man always called meringue "calf slobbers")

A close would be lemon chess pie.

A distant 3rd would be red velvet cake

Good old fashioned Homemade Pecan Pie, not the cracker barrel stuff or the store bought stuff...old fashioned , lots of pecans and made right, homemeade pecan pie and vanilla ice cream.
