What is your most aesthetically pleasing revolver?

I have a few. These are some of my faves:
Two of these marked to "F" Company.

Comes in this box:

and with a large "I'm Your Huckleberry" sticker.

I have one of these with custom grips. It
s a Plinkerton 10/22 and has a longer barrel than the one shown. I threw away the plastic grips it originally came with.

Then I have another . SAA 1873 .45-but with only a 5 & 1/2 in barrel. All have blued or blacked finish and all have or will sooner or later have custom grips made of Maple.

I bought and gave one of the Custer .45s to my BiL for Christmas.

Baby Chiefs snubby with a smooth ramp front sight.

This combination makes the aesthetic most agreeable in my eyes:

- full cylinder cavity

- stumpy grip handle

- tiny trigger guard

- original flat latch

I must admit I am also partial the the Smith M-19 in 4 inch. The 66 I also do like but not a real fan of SS guns. I have an ealy 66 in the box with SS sights front and rear. Debating either selling it or the 686 I have. Another that I do really like is my not so pristine 1950 Target in 45 Colt. Not pretty but it do shoot ok.

Without a doubt, the

Combat Masterpiece/15 with 4-inch barrel

followed closely by the

Model 14 with 6-inch barrel.

Soon as the gun has a partial or full length
underlug, it starts looking clunky.

And without a doubt, the clunkiest of the breed
is (sorry fellas) the 3.5-inch Model 27.

Doesn't mean I don't or can't like the "clunkers"
but they are not as pleasing to the eye.

P.S.: I've not only stayed at a Holiday Inn but
I've also had a few art appreciation classes. :):):)

Aesthetically that I own...66-1, 64 with tapered barrel, 629-4 mountain gun. That I don't own...3.5" 27 and 67/14. I'm not a real fan of underlug barrels although I own several. tapered barrels just look nice on the 4" Smiths.

One hundred per cent agreement on the standard tapered barrels.

I not only like the looks, I prefer the balance of a four-inch standard barrel. I'd love to have a 64 like yours, especially since I sold my four-inch10-5 to a friend who needed a house gun.

The best-looking revolver I've had (note past tense--gave it to my son) was a 1970 15-3, bought unfired from an estate. Handsomest automatic was (past tense again) a pristine pre-B CZ75. It was a time of financial anemia...
