What kind of good/reliable home office printer??

This is my 20th year in business. Had them all. Never had a good HP, and never had a bad Epson. I just wonder why my experiences are opposite of the rest of you.

I had a good old Epson until they updated the software and it won't even recognize it's own print cartridges. Can't figure out how to solve that problem. I probably will never own another Epson.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

We've been using the HP ENVY 5052 for a little over a year now and it's been pretty good. In general I hate home printers/copiers because they don't seem to last but this one has done okay.

No recommendation for a printer but I recently replaced a Canon that takes CLI-226 ink cartridges. So I have some new and the partial cartridges that came out of the old printer that I have no use for. If anyone can use these (or know anybody) let me know and I will get them to you.

I have a Brother MFC-L3710CW that prints and copies both sides plus scans. It uses toner cartridges instead of ink.

I am extremely happy with it.

It replaced my older Brother MFC-J4800W which was a good printer but no comparison to the new one.

I guess I'm the minority also, I've had nothing but poor performance from the three HP's I've had over the years. Expensive ink, having to reload the printer so it would print, poor performance. Then I tried an Epson and never looked back. WAY cheaper ink prices, always prints, and has yet to piss me off.

I bought an Epson with my new computer and it will be the last one. Nothing but trouble and the company is not very user helpful. Had several HP's before and they were better.
