What kind of grips do you use?

All my square-butt K, L & N-frames wear Pachmayr Gripper Pro's (those that leave the backstrrap open). I find Hogue grips position my middle finger awkwardly for DA shooting.

My mod 63 (square butt J-frame) has plain Pachmayr Grippers (those covering the backstrap) and my 640 (round butt J-frame) some Uncle Mike's . (I don't know the exact model designation on these last ones : they're sort of banana-shaped with finger grooves).

On an N-Frame...the Hogue is what my hand likes...on the K-Frame the Pachmayr "Gripper" is what my hand likes...not that the Hogue is bad on the Ks but the Gripper feels better...its just too long on the N-Frame...Short/stubby fingers...

For shooting these are two of my favorites. I wish I could get a couple more nice sets of the Kurac grips without the football cutout !

Pachmyer Decelerators. They have a nice soft cushion on the backstrap.
