What kind of handgun are you? A quiz. ( nevermind!, It's dumb.)

P7 ... And yes I've been married 38 years too..

Heckler and Koch, Model P7 in 9mm

Are they trying to say that I'm over weight and over priced, with a funky firing mechanism of an impotent caliber?

I got a PPK too!
But a .380? Not hardly.
Should'a been 454 Casull Single Action. Homie don't swing double action.

Martha could make an entire wardrobe and a house from coconut shells and palm fronds, but she's such a beyotch I'd probably clip her before the sun set on the first day.

OTOH, hearing "That's hot" repeatedly would have similar results.

I was a Glock 22 too.

I went on and looked at his questionaire on self defense handguns. He's a real Glock fan.

He claims that revolvers are more complex than Glocks because of the complexity of single/double action and the dexterity required for reloading.

It's a point of view, but I think it's a lame one. And my carry revolver doesn't offer single action.

And he didn't mention pocket carry with a holster as an option for concealed carry.

Well, I guess if you leave out pocket carry, and you leave out hammerless revolvers, and you assume you have to reload, maybe Glocks look like the clear choice?

But last time I looked, there seemed to be a lot of people who pocket carry J-frames.

A lot more than those who IWB Glocks, IIRC, which is his recommended modus operandi.

You don't say!?!?

Please explain why he would put a "safe action" pistol into a new shooter's hand?

There is no way I would ever start off a new shooter with a semi-auto pistol of any kind.
A K-frame, J-frame, or equivalent Colt or any other fine manufacturer of quality .22 rimfire double-action revolvers is what I have always been taught to start others who will be experiencing hand gunning for the first time.

A person that would put a Glock or a semi-auto of any kind into a new shooter's hand is beyond my pay grade, and IMHO leaves too much to chance to go wrong on a range full of people if they've never used a firearm before.

Why, I've never started off a first time shooter with a handgun! A long-barreled, and yet appropriately sized to the individual single-shot rimfire is always the place to start.

Not being able to walk away from that quiz as a Colt or a S&W revolver of some type has left me deliriously disenfranchised from the more "tactically oriented" people of the majority.

Next, they'll be knocking my Winchester Yellowboy as a home defense piece!

I'm a P7.

Martha Stewart over Paris Hilton, of course, but even to me a Playboy Playmate would be preferrable over the POTUS.

Looks like I'm a Glock 22 in forty caliber like most of the rest of you. I wish I were a SIG P226 in forty but oh well, it could have been worse and I could have been some nickel plated sissy gun.

As for Paris or Martha, it's a tough call but I chose Paris just because she is younger and more physically fit than Martha. I can't see Martha being able to pull her weight or being much help stranded on a deserted island.
