For those unfamiliar with the area of this incident, it occurred in the Greenspoint area of north/northwest Houston.

The area is known locally as "Gunspoint" and has been known as that for decades. I work less than two miles from where this happened and know the gas station involved well.

This staged crime stuff goes on a lot more than people think.

Forty years ago, the first time I lived in Houston, it was a nice part of town. When I moved back 15 years later, no one would dare stop near "Gunspoint."
