Absent Comrade
I've only sold the ones with flaws in their function. If I were looking to eliminate, the plastic guns would not be missed.
If it is not a family heirloom the economics are very simple:
Ask your self this one question:
"If I did not own it would I buy it for what I would get if I sold it?"
If Answer is an unqualified "Yes" -- Keep it
If Answer is an unqualified "No" -- Sell it.
And remember
Except for what really matters
Everything is always for sale
I just buy another safe occasionally.
I've sold 3 and regretted it. My $.02
Amen and amen. I've only sold 5 guns in my entire long, sorry life (4 handguns and one rifle) and I deeply regret selling all but one of them, and even that last one probably should have stayed in the safe too.I wish I had back back every firearm I ever sold or traded . . .

I did the same thing recentlyI usually sell what I no longer find interesting or desirable. Went through the Milsurp/Cruffler stage of collecting and shooting but after a decade or so I culled all but a few "keepers".
I can't think of one. My problem is that sometimes I forget why I sold it and buy another one only to realize that I should probably have held on to my money.I wish I had back back every firearm I ever sold or traded . . .
