what optic are you using on you M&P 10?

I’m sniffing around one of these Cabelas Covenant FFP scopes. A friend got one and loves it, FWIW. What attracts me is the crazy low price <$300 for a First Focal Plane scope. I just shoot recreationally - don’t know if I would risk it for shooting or competition.

Anyone have any comments or good reasons I shouldn’t give it a try?
