Since we're posting pics, here's some of the optics I mentioned in my first post.

Primary Arms micro on an American Defense QD lower 1/3rd

Primary Arms 1-4x24 on a QD Burris PEPR

Until it gets it's own micro dot, my Ruc16 gets whatever isn't mounted on the 15-22.

I split time between a Nikon P-22 BDC for longer range shooting and a Lucid HD7. I've got the screw-in doubler for the HD7 but I want more magnification out at 100 yards. 4x is about as low as I'll drop the P-22 at that range.

I'm very happy w/ both for the money.

I'm thinking about picking up one of those Bug Busters for long range use on the 15-22 when my 10/22 Takedown comes in and moving the P-22 over to it.

I love the rail setup on your rifle, who is the maker/product?

8 MOA for 100 yard shooting? That seems a bit large to me.

For 100 yards, I like the 1-4 scopes. Some people are good with a magnified red dot and that's a solution also. Just not something I would personally do. I run a Primary Arms 30MM red dot on one of my ARs and it's a great budget optic. Holds zero and made well. For longer distance, I don't think you can beat the Primary Arms 1-4 mentioned above. 1x for close range shooting and 4x when you want to reach out. Not too heavy, good clear glass and comes with outstanding customer service if you need it.
