Rifle, Winchester 94 .30-30
Shotgun, Winchester Defender
Handgun, Ruger Blackhawk Convertable .357/9mm

Do you mean purchased or aquired (our family's polite way of saying STOLE)? My first aquired was a Rem 521 .22 and an H&R top break .22 (thanks Dad). My first purchased was a Ruger 10/22.

Smith&Wesson Model 36 2" blued square butt, bought in 1975. Stolen from me by my wife in 1997.

It was a Mossberg Model 146B, tubular magazine, .22 bolt action rifle.

Purchased when I was age 14 from a Montgomery Ward store, "on sale", for $25.00. NIB. This was in 1955.

Now like an idiot, I sold it in 1968...for...$25.00...and thought I got a good deal!

Damn, I was young and stupid.

I wish I still had it. It was a wonderful, well made, accurate rifle. Besides that, it was stocked in a beautiful piece of well finished, dark walnut.

Here's a picture of one I found. Sorry for the photo, but it was the best I could come up with.

Rifle - Marlin 30A 30-30, Still have it, but don't use it.

Shotgun - Ithaca 37 12 Ga., Still have it. Use it for Quail a couple times a year.

1st rifle was a $20.00 303 Lee Enfield. 1st handgun was a Ruger .22 single action.

Been so long long ago I don't even remember the brand. It Was a 22 LR revolver. Had white plastic grips and you had to unscrew the cylinder pin to remove the cylinder. I was only 12 and I bought it at Chipley Hardware on RailRoad Avenue for $12.95. I think it might have been an RG?????

A year later I bought an H&R Topper 48 at Western Auto for I think $29.99. It was a 30-30 and I still have it. I've had the "working parts" smoothened up and hand load 110's and 125's for it and it has killed close to 50 deer since 196xxxxxxx. I killed my first deer with it and so did my son.

First rifle, Sears and Roebuck .22 semi tube fed. Fired shorts, longs and long rifle.
First handgun was a S&W model 10 .38spl with a 2" barrel.

A Red Ryder BB gun. I emptied my piggy bank and bought the Red Ryder with my dad in tow. I just had enough for the gun so dad spotted me a buck or so for the BBs. Thanks pop. I love ya!
