Hope you never get into a fight where you need to shoot your CCW piece for more than a few rounds. Probably would be so high on adrenaline that I would not notice my hand hurting until the next day.
What would be your first choice 32 caliber gun for defense?

On my hip most days is a .327 Fed LCR.
My first choice would be My 1911 45ACP.

Does that come in .32?
Where I live for most of the year it is too hot for a cover garment, so I carry a S&W built PPK .32 in the pocket of my cargo shorts. About two years ago it started having feeding problems with Winchester Silvertips, so I sent it to TJ's Custom Gunworks. He did a reliability package on it, and knocked off a little of the ridiculously oversized tang for me. Installed an Altamont grip and now it is just about perfect for me.

My 32 auto preference is the Sauer 38H. I like the Sauer far more than the Walther PP. I particularly like the cock/decocker lever on the concealed hammer design. You can use the cocking lever to cock the hammer and racking the slide to load a round is like racking a 22

have a Ruger LCRX in .327 i really like. it is just a little large for pocket carry. soooo, just purchased the Lipsey's 432 UC. haven't received it yet, but suspect this will become my every day carry. was definitely not bargain priced, but i'm at the age where i don't have the luxury of waiting for a bargain. have plenty of .32 long on hand as well as .32 H&R.

Only one I have is this lil fella. But I've been on the hunt for one of the many European .32ACPs with a longer barrel and much better sights. I will probably end up with one of the Berettas, but I'm also intrigued by the Llama 1911-ish guns.
Now, if I'm headed for a gunfight and have to take a .32, it's got to be a full auto VZ 61 Skorpion

Well, I've got three .32 handguns:
.32 HR Single Six
It is a fantastic little revolver that was the source of my appreciation for .32 HR Mag. A little single action would not be my first choice for self defense.
.327 SP101 with a 4.2" barrel
I just picked this one up yesterday. They have been showing up all over the place since Ruger released a run of them. I've been prepping some .327 brass, but my guess is that I will mainly use .32HR. I've had a snubby SP101 in .357 for a couple of decades, so I'm pretty sure I can get comfortable with the idea of this one for self defense.

This one's still in waiting period jail. I'll have to report back once I've shot it.

If I was going to carry a .32, it would be the new 432UC with the ammo from the fellow in Idaho who loads it and wrote about it.

I carry two .32s.
One is a Seecamp.
The other is a Colt Pocket Positive with a 2.5" barrel. These Colts are notably smaller than a S&W J-frame, but feature 6 shots. Mine was made in the early 1930s.

Are you talking about Buffalo Bore or somebody else in Idaho? My 432 is loaded with BB 100 gr JHP.
I have a fair number of .32s. They all get shot, but they are not all equally good carry options. The Bavarian Police surplus Walther PP is the best choice for me as it is accurate and good magazines are easy to find. I prefer it to the PPK. The Colt Pocket Hammerless and the Savage 1917 are also good shooters and reliable, but for the Savage in particular, magazines are a real a problem. As for revolvers, as much as I like the .32-20 all of mine are really belt guns. If .32 S&W long is what it has to be, a Colt Pocket Positive would have to be it.

My EDC has become a Taurus 327, in 327 Federal Magnum. I've got a 3" T.O.R.O. Model (RDS sight ready, athough I don't use an RDS), and a 2" version. I guess the 3" is my first choice, the 2" would be second.
The 3" one has become my EDC because it has some features that the 2" doesn't have that I like. Six shots, the 3" barrel, plus Tritium front sight, bobbed hammer, D/A only, and Hogue grips. I guess I've got 500 rounds through it, mostly 32 longs, but about 100 or so 327 Critical Defense 80 grain rounds plus another 75 or so 32 H&R Magnum, Critical Defense.
I've got a little "I" frame S&W in 32 Long, I could carry, but it's about 100 years old. I figure it's earned it's retirement.

But OH SO EASY to shoot, and shoot fast, and accurately. I would think that a baker's dozen of those little Hornady hornets would prove dissuasive...
I am such a liar and hypocrite, I totally forgot about my H&R .32 six shot
safety hammer revolver in the drawer of my desk in the basement. But then I don't carry it. It has been in that drawer for at least 16 years, and about the only time I touch it is when I have to get something that is located under it. I've taken it to the range a time or two and it shoots fine. Remember it's a bad breath firearm not meant for target shooting.

I just received an e-mail informing me that Walther is bringing back the PPK chambered in .32 ACP!
For the past 20 years or so they've only been chambering them in .380 ACP and to a lesser extent .22LR. S&W did a limited run of them in .32 ACP, but that was it.
I'm guessing that the sales of Beretta 3032s has caught the attention of Walther.
