Meet her for lunch. If mine knew ahead of time that I was going to the range, she'd do what she could to make it possible for me to go at another time.

Of course, this would NOT be without an alterior motive. She'd expect to be going with me. She complains about not getting to shoot enough as much as I do. I'm holdin' on to this one, I tell ya.

Lost my wife to cancer a little over four years ago. Can't begin to tell you what I would give to be able to have one more meal with her.

I'd call her right back and tell her that I just pulled up to the range.
She'd say,"Have a good day and we'll do it some other time." I got a good one.;)
She told me to take a day off last Thurs. and go fishing.Money's tight but my old fishing partner was in town from Co. You know what? I had a good time with an old friend and feel real good for it.(I caught one of the biggest Peacock Bass I've ever caught.)
I'll do anything for the wife and she will do anything for me.She is the spoiled one though.:rolleyes:I don't need much entertainment.

Newlywed, I assume. After you've been married awhile, "lunch" means lunch. :(

No, going on 20 years. Just wish my life was not so full of **** my wife could think of anything else.

Never too old to try and surprise her. Bring home flowers on Tuesday night.

You all are just afraid that your wives will see what you posted when she peeks in on the board, knowing that you spend much too much time fooling with the keyboard. What I would have done is call her boss and tell him/her that your Missus will not make it to work because she came down with a bad case of diarrhea, and is too embarrassed to call sick, then take her to the range for a long shooting session... then take her to lunch, buy her flowers, etc. How's that?

Me too, I am a very lucky man. :D

So you know what I'd do? Show up for lunch with her thinking I was off shooting. The look on her face when I show up is worth a lifetime full of bullseyes and burnt powder.

Thats a good one.I like to do things like that for her.
She gets plenty of spoiling so I'd probably stay at the range and catch her later with my boyish charm.:D
