I think there is a lot of thinking out there, "When it gets THAT bad we all will revolt and take the country back"! It really needs to be addressed before hand on a ongoing basis as every bit of new legislation turns up. I must admit I probley have been lax myself on it. I never been to australia, but think it should be a example of what can happen. Many of us daydream that, hell I just would bury most of mine and tell them they were sold long ago, and turn in a couple dogs. That, and hell, we will take to the boonies etc. No other country in the world has more boonies than australia! And surprisely, isnt their heritage suppose to be one of exciled prisioners, free spirited tough people? How then did it happen there? Are we really overall, more tougher than them? Not from the movies I have seen! How did it happen there?

If I'm not mistaken their convict ancestors were British who lost their colonies to AMERICANS! Yes we are tougher than them and better than the rest, we are Americans free and brave, don't forget, it don't discount it!

Go to my local gun shop and you would never know anyone has bought a gun - he has over 4000 in stock. You name it and he has probably got it. If you are really worried go to Oath-keepers.blogspot.com

I don't worry about it at all.

Because I'm not a "bad boy."

If I was a bad boy, I'd worry.

First thing you need to do, is become a paid NRA member and go take a basic pistol/rifle/shotgun course. It doesn't mean you have to agree with them, but they are the first "game in town" that should be joined. In that course, they will teach the correct terminology and use of the words firearm, handgun, pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, semi-automatic, etc.

Only uneducated people use the overused "W"-word which should never enter into your vocabulary for any reason except to describe military/police arms, munitions, etc.
The "W"-word gives a vague, imprecise, unclear- yet negative connotation the majority of the times that it is used to describe any firearm by people that have an agenda which, by any means possible- legal or otherwise- to hamper or eliminated the rights of the law-abiding shooters, hunters, collectors and conceal carry exercisers.

Please refrain from using the word weapon for any reason.

That was my public service announcement for the day.

*Iced tea is poured*

Also, take a kid, shooting! That, right there, is where the "battle" for our rights will be won or lost- on the shoulders of the current or next generation.
