Thanks...I really appreciate you posting it!! Can hardly believe that's another "Lettered" Nickel one to add to my research list...It's the 2nd Unknown one that's surfaced in a year....Possibly 3 if Cronus73's Letters being in that same shipment...Thanks again!!

Also...If you don't mind me asking...Was it on a S&W related Forum or otherwise...Just curious??

Here's a little tid-bit on NM #3's made and shipped to Japan from the letter on my last one. (As an aside, it's pictured in N&J (page 190), First R&R Edition.)

"Smith & Wesson only produced 3463 units of this model in 1896 of which just over 3000 units were supplied to the Japanese Government."

This one was shipped to Hartley & Graham Co., New York City as a special order (target and Russian style trigger guard).
