What’s a “tuned action”?

tuned action jobs vary wildly with who and where you have it done, pricing is not a true indicator of a quality job. finding a smith that will do a proper job without cutting corners is becoming harder and harder. with a big gun company ( like S&W ) you have no contact in 99% of the time with the person doing the work, good luck finding a good REAL gunsmith to do the job, waiting for the return can become very long,

I certainly agree with Exchipy on a zillion dry fires but would suggest a half zillion before the rebound spring change. Two reasons, it will build up the trigger finger muscle and train you not to short stroke the trigger.

Then when you have a Charlie Atlas trigger finger there will be no more complaints about a heavy trigger on 351 C or PD models and presto, tighter J frame groups will appear. Sorry there are no short cuts to excellence.
I certainly can't argue with your reasoning, but my sore finger sure can.

Custom shops at Springfield Armory, Leupold, etc, fell victim to the covid lockdowns. When the nonsense was over, the talent had already moved on.
Another reason to void Fauci's counterfeit pardon and prosecute him and his accomplices.

I'm right there with you. My beloved mom was isolated to death in her ALF when CDC guidelines drove blind policy and somehow gained the force of law.

You'all trying to ruin a good thread?
If you haven't noticed the mods are getting very irritated and with that less tolerant of such drifts.
