We go to a theater about once every year or two. The last one was avaiter. I couldnt tell you anything about the supposed story line, for me it was about the special effects.
The one before that was "september dawn" with jon voight. It was about the mountain meadows massacre where local mormons here wiped out a wagon train going west on 09-11-1857. The first "9-11". They wouldnt show the movie here and we had to go to nevada to see it!
My MIL. (wifes stepmother) gr, gr, grandfather was john doyle lee one of the leaders of the massacre and many years later the only person shot for his part in it. (Rightfully). 122 persons were killed and 16 kids under 8 years old were spared as the mormons thought they wouldnt remember it, and were adopted into local mormon familys.
Last year our daughter married one of those orphan decendants! So we had a real intrest in that movie!
