What's the best way to get powder burns off a SS finish?

If you want to keep the finish original DO NOT use Flitz, Mothers, abrasive lead wipes, or any other polish or abrasive. The satin finish turns to bright shiny spots where the polish is used. There are a number of chemical carbon removes that won't booger your satin finish. Here's one I use from Brownells, and it works.
