What's this Bobcat's look saying?

Here in Arizona we have some bold, surly Bobcat's!!

Took this photo just over our back fence.

Just what is this look saying???

Continuing the Clint Eastwood theme...

"Do you feel lucky punk? Well? Do you?"

I've only seen one in my life, up on the Skyline Drive, one ran in front of the car. I had hard time convincing my wife we did not need to "save it". But then she tried to give a dog biscuit to a bear once too. For a bright girl, she can get some silly ideas in her head. :D

Don't have to worry about predators up here.

Even the eagles will want to watch me get down.

The bobcat in the OP sat and looked at me for a while. Robert (bobcats don't like being called, Bob) got up and slowly walked away. Robert then looked back at me....

I am relatively sure that if I translated that look I would get a few forum points. No thanks.

The main difference between most domesticated kittehs and their big cousins is the big ones will do the nasty things to you that the little ones want to do. Don't believe me? Give a cat a bath. Anyone who has done so knows things that other folks don't.

Only thing I have to say is you got some great pics..Never had one stick around long enough to get a pic

We certainly know a few words which other people have yet to learn. Having said that, I had a large, but not wild, house cat that actually like me to take her into the shower with me. As long as I didn't get her face wet, we were okay with getting wet. Once her face got wet it was game on and I never won those challenges.

We had an 8 pound cat that was weaned a bit too young and was not well socialized. She was raised by our first dog (Rott X) and bonded to the Rottweilers and Rott X Pit who came after Tiny. She was nasty to everyone other than us. She took 3 people and a blanket at the vet, and was banned from a boarding facility. It was not unusual to see her and the dogs out in the yard for a group pee and then just laying about, and many Saturdays I woke up in a pet sandwich - a dog on each side and the kitty on top of me.
