Favorite .22

Would have to be ca. 1959 Model 17. Almost too nice to shoot, but just loves CCI Blazer 40gr. For slow plinking, a minty 3-screw Single Six 5.5" that has come to stay.

I confess that my only 22 is my 1972 High Standard Victor. I have the Ciener units for my Colt MK IV and Browning High Power.

Model 63. I have a 1953 vintage .22 Combat Masterpiece that could move into the no 1 slot if I ever get the opportunity to really wring it out. I've had it four months now, and have only been out with it once.

I enjoy my j and k frame wheelgun 22's.

My favorite is a custom 41.

But the most used is my bullseye 22, it is a Pardini from the late 70's. Last Thursday I scored a 873 in a 900 match with it. This is very good for me as I am only classified as an expert and this is a high master score.

The Mosquito has a spotty reputation over on RimfireCentral. When they work right it's usually with Stingers or other Hyper-Velocity ammo.

Sig Mosquito is a good firearm, BUT it will like CCI mini mags, They are costly compared to the ruger's appetite of ANYTHING you feed it, I sold my Sig. Kept my Ruger MKII.

I like the MKI thru MKIIIs too. I like that "Luger" look. I should have kept my 22A-1 for a shooter.
