Bourbon cocktail recipe.

Made these nightcaps up for a bunch of friends at a recent dinner party at the ranch.

In a large brandy snifter, combine a generous portion of cracked ice, 2 shots of your favorite bourbon, 1 shot of any orange liquor and fill half way with perseco or other sparkling wine of your choice.

Another favorite of mine....an ultra dry martini.

In a martini glass fill with dry vermouth, swirl around glass, dump in sink or toss out window, bow towards Italy. Pour chilled vodka into glass, add two stuffed olives, get happy.

Cheers;
Lefty

I like the roy rogers cocktail take a glass half full of ice pour in coca cola then a small amount of grenadine syrup then stir to combine then enjoy.

Never mess up good Bourbon with anything. As far as a "Cocktail" well, I guess Vodka and Tonic is my favorite, followed by Beer and Spicy V8(yes, a "Beer Cocktail",LOL) other then that I like a glass of wine now and again.

Rum and tonic. Slice of lime on the glass lip.

Hey: what's the difference between a Tom Collins and a John Collins? I've never had either. Didn't know there was a John Collins until I read about British officers drinking them in North Africa in WW II, in Cairo.

A brandy Manhattan. Two parts E&J brandy, one part sweet vermouth or Rosso, three ice cubes, a dash of Angostura bitters and a Maraschino cherry. I only drink it at deer camp where it’s the official before dinner beverage. Lovingly referred to as Manhattan soup! :D

Canadian

Howdy,
Canadian whiskey and campfire smoke.
When the temperature gets way up I can replace the campfire smoke with tonic water and a twist.
I need to warn you ,folks look at you funny when you ask for V.O. and tonic.
Thanks
Mike

I like a Scotch Old Fashion. 'Ordered one the other night at a steak house and the twenty something bar tender said,"You mean Scotch on the Rocks." I said, no but that'll do.
Bar tender asked me how to make what I wanted and when I said, "Angostura", he said, "What is that?"

Gin and tonic - Tanqueray thank you very much, with a twist of lime (or lemon).

Take a well sized old fashioned glass and fill it with ice made from spring or filtered water. Fill it 2/3rds of the way with Woodfords Reserve bourbon. Add spring or filtered water to top. Enjoy.

Ketchup,Worchestershire sauce,finely-grated horseradish,a touch of lemon juice and medium-sized shrimp. Put ingredients in a parfait and chill. :D

Single malt-ice
Blended Scotch-ice-club soda
Mount Gay & tonic
pink gin & tonic (G&T with a couple of dashes od angustora bitters)
Dirty martini
That's the top 5, but honest to gawd, any well made cocktail sits well with me.

Frozen drinks I do not consider cocktails in the strictest sense of the word

My grandaddy always told me "that mixer'll kill you son!" And since he was a moonshiner of the highest repute, I follow his advice.

My drink of choice is Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Bourbon, and a little ice. Sometimes it is Maker's Mark, sometimes Glenlivet or Jack Daniels, frequently Jim Beam. But never does it include anything other than a few flakes of ice!
