What's your favorite cocktail recipe?

Windsor and diet squirt. Good whiskey is better saved for the more refined.

Taquila, salt and a lime wedge, chased with a beer

Any Islay single malt, straight. With nice cigar.

Take bottle Chopin (or any decent potato) vodka, put in freezer with 4-8 oz glasses, and martini pitcher. When everything is cold, put some ice in pitcher. Pour in Chopin until you have what you can drink before it warms up. Stir exactly 63 times, counter-clockwise. Strain into glasses with big olives with pimientos. Sip it before it warms up. Eat Olive for dinner.

Hiram Walker Blackberry Brandy, straight, at room temp. Goes well with breakfast coffee (espresso, sweet, like in Italy). Not recommended before work, or driving.

Remy Martin VSOP, half and half with ginger ale. (Horses Neck). Or, you can skip the ginger ale, and add a nice cigar, like with the scotch.

In a large glass ad crushed ice to the top, Open bottle of Cherry Pepsi and fill to rim of glass, refill as often as you like!

In my youth it was Acme beer then Olympia then Fishers. Remember this was in the early '40's & 50's. Fishers was 79 cents a six pack. Then it was VO over ginger ale. Then onto better stuff. Like Red Mountain Burgandy[ I married at this time] Buck a gallon. Now I'm fine with a Martini when I go to dinner but leave off the hard stuff unless I'm in a hunting camp. Then all bets are off. Had a ball deer hunting last year, getting back to camp & racing for the jug. I usually lost 'cause i'm 80 now & the youngsters are faster than I am. And NO I don't drink before the hunt just need a little tiddly before dinner. We took 2 nice bucks out of 3 of us.

I've got wide ranging tastes. Don't like the same thing all the time. However, my current favorite is the "Dark & Stormy".
Tall glass, couple lime wedges in the bottom and fill with ice.
Add two generous measures of good rum. [I like Zaya]
Add couple dashes bitters and top with Ginger Beer.
Cheers!

Exlnt choice sjmjax! I also like a Dark & Stormy. It's a fav drink for a group of buds that visit in the summer.

My receipe requires the traditional/original Gosling's Black Seal (Burmuda) rum. BS is unique in that it is kinda harsh, not smooth at all, and gives the D&S a real kick!

One bottle of Basil Hayden's one bag of ice, two glasses and one attractive lady to share it with.

Tall glass, fill 3/4 full of Patron Silver, fill rest of glass with good orange juice and a dash of grenadene. Add a couple of cubes of ice if desired.
or
small glass fill with Patron Reposado-nothing else.
