What's your favorite K frame?

I'm not sure...one of these I think (today anyway). A 1989 shipped 17-6 or a 1972 shipped 67.

5 inch M&P. Just picked up a nickel one from the early 50ties. I guess it might be because the first centerfire revolver I handled was this one back in the 50ties. Just looks and feels right. The 4 in M12 comes in second.

K22 with 8 3/8" barrel. Bought new in 1979 and is as accurate as the USAF Win52D which I used in the 60's. Well.... Almost as accurate. :)
Out of the box the SA trigger defines crisp.

My favorite, a pristine 15-3 I bought unfired from an estate, no longer lives here. I couldn't see making my son and his three boys wait till I croak, and gave it to them. They shoot it often with great pleasure. A master smith gave it the most wonderful trigger I've ever encountered on any firearm, ever.

My present favorite is the 4" standard-barrel 10-5 that stays in the head of my bed in case of goblins and miscreants. Not pretty--the previous owner coated it with something like Duracoat, and I bought it for knocking around the woods in bad weather. Now I can't do that anymore, but it's very serviceable. And hey, it's a Model 10, something everyone needs to own.

That's tough. I've got 19s in all barrel lengths but the legendary 3". But I'd have to say my pre-18 is my favorite.

What a fabulous bunch of K frame guns on this thread....both old and new!

At some point ya gotta believe S&W will revive the no longer produced K frame models to their old glory and provide us with the many options that used to be....

Long live the K frame!!

I love my model 19-5. 2 1/2bbl 357 mag It's blue with packmyer grips and has a also most glass smooth action.

I love em all but my 17-3 is the one I'll never part with.

66-4. Bought from a private seller (original owner) at a gun show.... came with Spegels and a sweet trigger job.
